Oxford Day 1

This group is amazing, I even know one of the librarians! But everyone is so friendly and excited to be here, I love it.

I made a new feline friend, The Oxford cat. He is cared for by all the students, faculty and staff. He rules the place going wherever he wants. Reminds me of Gryffin.

Tomorrow we study Alice in Wonderland, and Saturday is Alice Day with events all around Oxford. They take Alice very seriously here. Story Museum

Arrival at Oxford

Oxford is simply beautiful. I am all checked in and have a single room, so far. There are two beds in here, so who knows? Driving through Oxfordshire was beautiful, quintessential English town. Oxford town is awesome, shades of Harvard square, I am in love already! And the weather is picture perfect!

Hello London!

Landed at Heathrow over an hour ago. I finally found the National Express ticket office, but this area is far more confusing than South Station. And fancier. The MBTA could learn a thing or two from London's transit system. I have an hour ride to Gloucester Green/Oxford. Then I have to take a taxi to Mansfield College.
Oh look, the bus just stopped at Terminal 5, where I came from. I knew I was going in circles.

Summer Reading

London_Reading.jpg
This is my required and supplimental reading. Yes, I have most of it on my Kindle, but I suppose I should read it before I fly. I have read them all before, but it's been a while. And I just measured my suitcase, I will have to check it, not happy about that. But brightside, my adapters came in. I have just about everything I need for my trip, passes are booked, I just need to read. There are worse things required of me.
